With religion-related rulings on the horizon, U.S. Christians see Supreme Court favorably
Christians are more likely than religiously unaffiliated Americans to see the Supreme Court favorably (69% vs. 51%).
Following major, end-of-term rulings on the Affordable Care Act and same-sex marriage, unfavorable opinions of the Supreme Court have reached a 30-year high.
As the Supreme Court’s decisions on subjects as same-sex marriage, the death penalty and the Affordable Care Act loom, half of Americans have a favorable opinion of the court, while 39% say they have an unfavorable view.
