Hispanics are far less positive in their views of unauthorized immigration than they were a few years ago. About four-in-five of the nation’s estimated 11.1 million unauthorized immigrants are of Hispanic origin. Roughly equal shares of Hispanics now say the impact of illegal immigration on Hispanics already living in the U.S. has been positive (29%), negative (31%) or made no difference (30%). This is in sharp in contrast to opinion in 2007.
