Kat Devlin

Kat Devlin is a former research associate at the Pew Research Centerโ€™s Global Attitudes Project, where she specialized in international public opinion and quantitative research methods. She was involved in all aspects of the research process, including designing survey questionnaires, managing fieldwork, assessing data quality and writing reports. Devlin earned her masterโ€™s degree from Yale Universityโ€™s Jackson Institute for Global Affairs, with concentrations in quantitative research and Chinese studies. Previously, she served as a Fulbright grantee in Malaysia. Devlin has written on numerous topics, including public opinion in India, economic issues in Japan, global attitudes toward China, language learning in Europe and applied data science methods. Her research has been covered in international news outlets such as the BBC, Axios, Forbes, Agence France-Presse and Reuters.
