Strongly Support U.S. Involvement in World Affairs
Half of Americans now say they completely agree that it is best for the U.S. to play an active role in international affairs, up sharply from 2007.
Roughly half of Americans describe themselves as middle class.
The vast majority of self-identified middle class workers (89% overall) are either completely or mostly satisfied with their job.
Fewer than half of all African Americans (44%) now say they think life for blacks will get better in the future, down from the 57% who said so in a 1986 survey.
