While all demographic groups are about equally likely to have certain devices fail them, younger adults are more likely than seniors to have their cell phones fail. Only 18% of cell phone owners age 65 and older reported having problems with their cell phone, compared with 30% of those ages 18-29 and 33% of those ages 30-49. As would be expected, seniors are not as exclusively reliant on their cell phones as younger owners, and are also much more likely to have landline phones at home. Fully 79% of senior cell phone owners also have regular phones, while just 30% of 18-29 year olds and 52% of 30-49 year olds have both types of phones. Read More
