The religious landscape of the United States continues to change at a rapid clip, with both Protestantism and Catholicism experiencing losses of population share.
As in 2016, 88% of U.S. adults say its benefits outweigh the risks. And the share who consider its preventive benefits to be “very high” rose by 11 points to 56%.
The most common age was 11 for Hispanics, 27 for blacks and 29 for Asians as of last July. Multiracial Americans were by far the youngest racial or ethnic group.
