Across 30 nations, a median of 38% now say U.S. power and influence poses a major threat to their country, up 13 percentage points from 2013.
Islam is the most common state religion, but many governments give privileges to Christianity.
Today, 68% say the U.S. is less respected by other countries than it was in the past.
