Up from 25% last year, more than half of those in households earning $75,000 or more now have tablets. Up from 19% last year, 38% of those in upper-income households now have e-readers.
57% of American adults use their cell phone to go online. 21% of cell phone owners say they mostly access the internet using their phone.
Seven in ten American adults have a high-speed broadband connection at home. Another one in ten Americans lack home broadband but do own a smartphone.
56% of American adults now own a smartphone of some kind; Android and iPhone owners account for half of the cell phone user population. Higher income adults and those under age 35 lead the way when it comes to smartphone ownership.
More than half of app users have uninstalled or avoided an app due to concerns about personal information
52% of adult cell owners use their phones while engaging with televised content; younger audiences are particularly active in these “connected viewing” experiences
