Dalia Fahmy is a senior writer/editor at Pew Research Center, focusing on race, ethnicity and migration in the United States. Previously, she was on the Center’s religion team and worked on publications including Buddhism’s Recent Decline in East Asia and How the Global Religious Landscape Changed From 2010 to 2020. Before joining the Center, Fahmy worked as a business journalist in New York and Berlin for various media including CNBC television and Bloomberg News. She also wrote frequently for The New York Times, New York Post and Financial Times. She is originally from Egypt and grew up in Europe.
