Partisan Gap Over Progress in Iraq
A huge partisan gap divides Americans on the question of whether the U.S. is making progress in defeating the insurgency in Iraq with 80% of Republicans saying that it is, but only 36% of Democrats agreeing.
That’s the percent of conservative Republicans who think that free trade agreements have, on the whole, been a bad thing for the United States — a view held by essentially the same percentage (32%) of liberal Democrats.
