Smartphone adoption among teens has increased substantially and mobile access to the internet is pervasive. One in four teens are “cell-mostly†internet users, who say they mostly go online using their phone.
Twenty-six percent of American teens of driving age say they have texted while driving, and half (48%) of all teens ages 12 to 17 say they’ve been a passenger while a driver has texted behind the wheel.
The number of American adults downloading music continues to grow and two-thirds of those who download or share files say they don’t care whether the files are copyrighted or not.
