Internet users are increasingly turning to e-government sites to carry out their business with government. But Internet users and non-users alike value having more than one way to get in touch with government.
This data set asks questions about Internet users’ experiences with regard to government. Some of the topics addressed include looking for information about government services and benefits, requesting official government documents and data, expressing opinions to representatives, frequency of government contact and respondents’ preferred means of contacting government officials or agencies.
This report provides a portrait of rural Americaâ€™s Internet users, the activities they pursue online and their attitudes about the Internet compared to online Americans in urban and suburban communities
