Unauthorized Immigrants in Italy
An estimated 500,000 to 700,000 unauthorized immigrants lived in Italy in 2017, up from 300,000 to 500,000 in 2014, according to new Pew Research Center estimates based on the latest available data.

The rapid growth of the Latino population has been a subject of intense public attention since the 2000 Census reported a 58% increase over the 1990 total and later Census Bureau estimates concluded that Hispanics had surpassed African Americans in number.
The nation’s 35 million Hispanics comprise nearly 13 percent of the population. However, there are a far smaller number of Hispanic voters.
Latinos are in good health relative to most other Americans. Their favorable health does not stem from better access to medical care. In fact, many lack health insurance and regular care.
