Gun deaths among U.S. children and teens rose 50% in two years
In 2021, there were 2,590 gun deaths among U.S. children and teens under the age of 18, up from 1,732 in 2019.
Americans largely favor legalization of the drug, including 57% who say it should be legal for both medical and recreational use.
There are wide partisan gaps over most of the 19 items asked about – particularly addressing racial issues and dealing with global climate change.
