Obama and the Middle East

Though President Obama has faced criticism from conservatives both at home and in Israel for his approach to Middle East peace process, most Americans believe his administration strikes the right balance. Only 17% say Obama favors the Palestinians too much; fewer (6%) say he is partial towards Israel. While Republicans are far more likely to say Obama favors the Palestinians (36%), a plurality says Obama is taking an even-handed approach (43%).
