Fewer Americans view the United Nations favorably than in 2023
U.S. adults under age 65 are more likely than those 65 and older to have a favorable opinion of the UN.
The public is sharply divided by party, even as most support international cooperation and large majorities say it is important that the U.S. is respected around the world.
U.S. adults give high marks to South Korea and Germany’s pandemic responses. In contrast, most believe China has done an only fair or poor job.
