Most Americans don’t see Trump as religious; fewer than half say they think he’s Christian
A majority of Americans say Trump is “not too” or “not at all” religious. Half either say they’re not sure what his religion is or that he has none.
There are wide partisan gaps over most of the 19 items asked about – particularly addressing racial issues and dealing with global climate change.
Generational differences have long been a factor in U.S. politics. These divisions are now as wide as they have been in decades, with the potential to shape politics well into the future.
