New Year’s resolutions: Who makes them and why
Nearly a month into the new year, most people who made New Year’s resolutions have stuck with them, although 13% say they have not kept any of them.
There are wide partisan gaps over most of the 19 items asked about – particularly addressing racial issues and dealing with global climate change.
Generational differences have long been a factor in U.S. politics. These divisions are now as wide as they have been in decades, with the potential to shape politics well into the future.
