Three-in-ten or more Democrats and Republicans don’t agree with their party on abortion
When it comes to abortion, members of Congress are starkly divided by party. Yet the partisan divide among Americans themselves is less stark.
Over the decade from 2007 to 2017, government restrictions on religion – laws, policies and actions by state officials that restrict religious beliefs and practices – increased markedly around the world.
The European continent today is split in public attitudes toward religion, minorities and social issues such as gay marriage and legal abortion.
Even with no new migration, Muslims are projected to increase as a share of Europe’s population.
