State of the Union 2018: Americans’ views on key issues facing the nation
As President Donald Trump prepares to deliver his first State of the Union address, here’s a look at public opinion on key issues facing the nation.
Since 2015, opinions about the federal government’s handling of several major issues have become less positive and much more partisan.
An experiment comparing responses to 27 questions fielded on both a telephone and a web survey found no significant mode differences in overall opinion about Trump or many of his signature policy positions.
