# The Changing Forces Driving Hispanic Population Growth

The share of foreign-born Hispanics has declined since earlier in the decade, as immigration from abroad has slowed, according to a new Pew Research Center analysis of census figures. Births have been the primary driver of Hispanic growth since 2000.
