The extensive outreach of the Obama campaign is apparent in the exit poll data, with a quarter of voters (26%) saying they were contacted by his campaign. A third of Obama’s supporters reported having been contacted by the campaign, while McCain’s outreach contacted 24% of those who voted for him.
