# Personal Financial Ratings Remain  Stable

While only 9% of Americans rate the state of the American economy as excellent or good — a near historic low — more than four-in-ten (41%) still rate their personal financial situation positively. The number giving a positive assessment of their personal finances has changed little since July (42% excellent/good). While personal financial ratings have remained more stable than national ratings of the economy historically, there has been an 8-point drop in positive personal finance assessments since January of this year.
