# Commercialized Christmas

About half of Americans (52%) say they are bothered at least to some degree by the commercialization of Christmas, including 26% who say that they are bothered by it a lot. Commercialization is a far larger source of concern to the public than is opposition to the display of religious symbols in public places (35%). Indeed, a solid majority (56%) says they are not bothered at all by such opposition to religious displays. And fully 87% of Americans say they are not bothered at all by Christmas music played in stores and public places.
