# Attitudes Toward Homosexuality in African Countries

In both Kenya and Nigeria, 98% of the public say that homosexuality can never be justified, according to a recent Pew Forum survey. Conservative views extend to other social issues in these countries as well, as a majority of both Kenyan and Nigerian publics surveyed said that divorce and the consumption of alcohol are never justified.
