# The Faith Angle Conference Series

The Faith Angle conference series brings together a select group of nationally respected journalists and distinguished scholars for in-depth discussions of cutting-edge issues at the intersection of religion and public life. The biannual two-day conferences, held at the Pier House Resort in Key West, Fla., offer participants an opportunity to grapple with some of the most crucial issues facing Americans today, such as religion and the culture wars, the moral implications of advances in biotechnology, the prospects for democracy in the Muslim world and the influence of global Christianity on international politics. The relaxed setting and intimate group size allow for extended discussion and the kind of deeper reflection that is not always possible in today's fast-paced world of breaking news.

The Faith Angle conference series is sponsored by the Pew Forum on Religion & Public Life and hosted by Michael Cromartie, vice president of the Ethics & Public Policy Center and senior adviser to the Pew Forum.
