# YouTube Suit Gets Backup Band

The National Music Publisher's Association recently joined the YouTube class action copyright infringement [suit](http://www.youtubeclassaction.com), along with the likes of Viacom and those who started the Zidane-style retaliatory headbutting in the first place (none other than the Football Association Premier League, of course).

See the full AP story [here](http://www.nytimes.com/2007/08/07/technology/07youtube.html?_r=1&ref=technology&oref=slogin).

Is the legal headbutting warranted? Some would say it's long overdue, while others argue such intimidation threatens the future of creativity and innovation online.

Whatever the refs decide, the world of online video will [continue to evolve as we watch from the sidelines](https://www.pewresearch.org/internet/PPF/r/219/report_display.asp).
