These fact sheets are based on Pew Research Center’s tabulations of the Census Bureau’s American Community Survey. Eligible voters are defined as U.S. citizens ages 18 and older.

Hispanics of Puerto Rican Origin in the United States, 2013

An estimated 5.1 million Hispanics of Puerto Rican origin resided in the 50 U.S. states and the District of Columbia in 2013, according to a Pew Research Center analysis of the Census Bureau’s American Community Survey.
