Support for the National Rifle Association (NRA) ranges from 76% of Rush Limbaugh’s regular audience to 13% of regular readers of the New York Times. Similar proportions of the regular viewers of three other conservative talk show hosts — Glenn Beck, Bill O’Reilly and Sean Hannity — also call themselves supporters of the NRA. A Pew Research poll conducted in September 2010 also finds audiences of Keith Olberman and Rachel Maddow were less likely to support the NRA than were any other audiences — except for the readership of the New York Times.
