The share of adults using the internet to research products and services has increased since 2004. Currently, nearly six-in-ten adults (58%) have gone online to do research about products they buy, up from 49% six years ago. More than two-in-ten (21%) look for product and service information online daily, up from just 9% in 2004. Roughly a quarter of adults (24%) have also left comments and reviews online about the products they purchase.
