By a ratio of nearly two-to-one, Americans say that men (46%) rather than women (24%) have the better life in this country.

All things considered, almost half of the public thinks that men (46%) have the better life in America, while nearly half as many think that women have the better life (24%) and 17% don’t believe there is a difference. A sizeable gender gap exists on this question. Women are much more likely that men to say men have the better life in America.
